Hi Woozens!

Woozens, how glad are you to be back?? It was so weird not having Woozworld for a week! Now that we’re back, life can return to normal! It’s time for Mya to put out some stunning new collections, you all to create fun new eventz, and the Woozband to finish sorting through your creative Woozcars 2013 submissions.

I’m sure you’ve seen the cool stuff Woozworld is offering to thank you all for being so patient and supportive. Enjoy the prezzies, and let’s get back to celebrating Woozworld as the coolest online hangout around X) If you’re wondering what was given out, scroll to the bottom of this blog to see XD

Of course the big thing this weekend was the 85th Academy Awards! Did you watch?  I loooooove the Oscars. (Congrats to Argo!). Max and I hosted a big party like we do every year – you should have seen Mya’s ballgown! Even better than Best Actress Jennifer Lawrence’s beautiful white dress. (Plus, Mya never trips ;) We had food to go with some of the Best Picture nominees: Jay made Philly-style burgers after the romcom Silver Linings Playbook (starring our favorite girl from The Hunger Games!), Max got tabbouleh salad like they eat in the Middle Eastern-set Zero Dark Thirty, I baked fudgy chocolate cake as mentioned in Beasts of the Southern Wild, and Mya bought popcorn and ice cream lol.

But I have to say, my favorite award is always the Best Animated Feature. This year, Brave,Frankenweenie, ParaNorman, The Pirates! Band of Misfits, and Wreck-It Ralph were all nominated. The bold redhead of Brave took home the top prize. You go girl! hehe. Who did you think should have won? Tell me tonight at What the Wooz?! at 7:30 PM WT. I’m extrasuperduper excited to host since it’s been a while since I’ve seen you all! Let’s chat pop culture (Oscar movies & gowns! hehe), and maybe we’ll even play the interview game XD

Quiet on set!

What’s your favorite thing about the movies? The tales that transport you to distant times or places? Maybe it’s the gripping, classic stories, the artful camera work, the witty dialogue, or the well-timed plot twist? Whatever it is, we know that you Woozens can rise to the challenge of any Hollywood production! We’re always amazed at your creativity, and what better way to show it than a Photo Reel Contest?

Each Woozband member has picked a classic film genre based on their favorite movie this year. Pick your favorite (or, if you’re a VIP, pick them all!) and see below for how to enter Woozcarz 2013!

Jay – Science Fiction / Mya – Mystery / Max – Adventure / Jenny – Romance

To help you create the perfect Photo Reel film, we’ve created four sets of new Unitz, Furniture, and Costumes that are now available in the Woozworld Store + Shopz!

How To Enter

First, SELECT your favorite category: Adventure, Romance, Mystery, or Sci-fi. Non-VIPs can only enterONE category, so choose wisely.

If you’re a VIP, you can enter ALL FOUR categories for an even better chance of winning!

Then ASSEMBLE your creative team! Remember that making a movie takes a lot of people (have you ever watched all the credits at the end of a film?), so you must have minimum two and a maximum of five Woozens participating in your Photo Reel submission. Cast your favorite Woozen actors (or shall we say, Wooztor) to read your best script!

Next (and most important!), CREATE your Photo Reel film! Create a new Albumz with your Photo Reel movie’s title. This Albumz must contain a minimum 12, maximum 15 photos, so plan your story in the right number of scenes. Using the items from the Woozworld Store or Shopz, set the stage and click away!

Last but not least, SUBMIT! You can create and submit your completed Photo Reel anytime betweenFebruary 28th – March 6th. Make sure you’re happy with it before you submit it because once you press the button you won’t be able to submit another!

Remember that originality and creativity will make you stand out from the rest!

The awards ceremony will be on Friday March 8th where the Woozband will be announcing winners. Here are the categories that will be won:

This week, the Sparkz of Love contest came to an end!  We’d like to congratulate the winners,WaverylyForFor and CamoLegend!  The Woozband are so super excited to attend your love-themed eventz.  We know a lot of you woozens were hard at work gather Love Particlz around Woozworld, and we commend your efforts!  You all demonstrated great dedication to the power of love.  And even though the contest and Valentine’s Day itself are over, keep in mind that you can tell someone how much you care about them any time of the year! <3 p="">

Saturday, February 16th at 1PM WT MyaWooz will host her Star of the Week Competition!  To enter the contest, come strut your stuff in Mya’s Fashion Show Unitz wearing your best outfit from the new Wedding Collection (feel free to mix n match)! Mya and three woozen judges will be there to score your looks.

Also on Saturday, at 4PM WT, get ready to rhyme with JayWooz at his VIP Freestyle Hour.  The theme is Valentine’s Day in honor of this past Thursday.  Show Jay some love! ;)

On Sunday, February 17th, at 2PM WT, JennyWooz will be visiting your Babiz & Dronez Display Eventzto see how much fun you’re having with the new WooPetz!

Also on Sunday at 5PM WT, our gamer MaxWooz will be playing his awesome new combo game, Map Revenge!  Meet him in his Map Unitz to play.

Why Our Friends and Relationships Are Gone by bobby223Hey guys, recently you may have noticed that your friends and relationships are gone. This was due to data loss. Unfortunately, the data can’t be retrieved back again (which means that they can’t fix it). This incident was an accident. So don’t put the blame on them. Remember, not all systems are perfect. Every now and then, problems will occur.  Not only for Woozworld, other websites and virtual world will experience this problem as well. Woozworld will be compensating you guys with a gift too, I guess this is the only thing that they can do. So please accept their apology and try to add your friends back. That’s all.

Style Section: Coloration Tips by oliviabillsHiya Woozens! The new outfits are cuteee! If you are like me, colour in an outfit is everything. The colour can make or break your Valentine’s outfit! Whether your fave colour is blue, green or neon pink, you MUST know how to work it. The “in” colours right now are very pastel-y. Ranging from light blue, to light peach like mine! Another very “in” colour at the moment is bright red, which is great for Valentines Day and luvvvv! You should experiment with different colours and see what matches your skin tone. Generally pastels and light colours suit pale skin, and neon colours look stunning on tanned woozens! So next time you colour your outfit, remember that colour is everything! xx oliviabills

The Woozband hope you are still having fun and finding ways to connect with your friends even if you can't meet them in game right now. We recently learned that the issues we've been having in the last week are not related to Woozworld or any exciting features we are trying to bring you, but an individual that wanted Woozworld offline so you can't play (who would do that? :() We want you to know that when we do come back online, your Woozen will be just like you left it :D. In the meantime, check out our page often for updates on Woozworld and some chances to see YOUR creation in Woozworld! We have to continue to have fun until we're back right? :)

On Sunday, February 3rd, at 2PM WT, MaxWooz wants to celebrate Chinese New Year with all you woozens!  Create a Display Eventz using the new Great Wall of China Unitz.  Hintz: we recommend using lots of red; in China it’s considered the color of luck for the new year!

Also on Sunday at 5PM WT, we’ll be celebrating a different upcoming holiday: Valentine’s Day!  JennyWooz will host a special love-themed Swimming competition.  Meet her in the Woozlympics Unitz to particpate.

Your favorite Woozblogger Celia98 is here.  With the month of love freshly upon us and just SEVEN days till the big day, I’ve been hearing a lot of people groan about what to get their loved ones. That’s where I come in. Now I’ll admit, I’ve been given terrible Valentine’s Day gifts – guys just never seem to get it right, do they? – before, and with such short time till Valentine’s Day, I’m here to help all the guys out there who are cramming to get THE gift that everyone has been searching for. And here’s the secret.
The big secret is there isn’t much behind the perfect gift. Now I know all the songs say “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend”, or all girls want are expensive clothes and shoes. (Hello? Who doesn’t love the feel of silk?) But all we girls want are thoughtful gifts.
“What is a thoughtful gift?” you may ask. Well, it’s pretty self-explanatory. A gift filled with thought. What’s a better way to show your girl you love her, than giving her a gift you thought long and hard over, and that you know will mean something to her.  If she loves books and poems, write her a love note! If she is the romantic type, plan a date! Does she love chocolate? Get your hands on some! Come on guys, we aren’t rocket science!
And the same for girls; give your man a gift you KNOW he loves, something that he’s wanted or had his eye on. Not some cheap bottle of cologne that you just ‘think’ he ‘might’ like.
Valentine’s Day is the day you show your love for each other, not show how much Wooz you have, so just keep it the S.T.S treatment: Simply Thoughtful and Sweet.

Hey Fashionistas!

As you know, Star of the Week is a little competition that I host onSaturdays! I give you a theme and you work the runway while my Woozen Panel of Judges scores your outfit. While there’s only one Star of the Week(or sometimes two if it’s a partner edition), I’ve decided to give some shout-outs to Woozens that really rock their style but didn’t quite make it to the top spot. Around the middle of each week, I’ll be posting pics of Woozens whose outfits catch my eye to give them a little blog love!

On Saturday, February 2nd, I asked you Woozens to create a purrrfectly purrrple Feline & Predator Collection outfit!  As you all saw on Hot Topics, purplicious snagged the Star with a lovely lavender confection.  But there were so many fabulous entries!  Ciara455 kept things catty (in a good way) by pairing the Feline top and ears with some leopard-print leggings.  TobanJ rocked some of the darkest purple hues of the day, giving this collection an awesomely rebellious, high-fashion edge.  Finally,CosmicThunder rep’ed the boyz in fabulous style – his mix of neons totally brightened my day!  I know cats have nine lives, but with clothes as purrrrfect as these, you only need to live once ;)

Sparkz of Love Contest

Woozens, can you feel the Sparkz tonight? Maybe we’ve been spending too much time with Max and Jenny, but we are SO EXCITED for Valentine’s Day! It’s the time of year to let people know how much you care about them – your family, your friends, and especially your crush ;)

Last year, we marked Valentine’s Day by celebrating the renewal of Max and Jenny’s vows. This year, we’ve got an awesome competition for all of you. Winners of this year’s Sparkz of Love contest will get to create a love-related event for the Woozband to attend!!

We know some of you out there have been waiting for the right time to mark your relationship, either with a wedding ceremony, an engagement party, or even just asking out that special someone on the perfect date. Now, imagine how amazing that day would be with the Woozband there to back you up! Pretty perfect, right?

One boy and one girl will win the Sparkz of Love contest; each one gets to create a romantic event. To win the contest, gather as many Heart Collectiblz around Woozworld and earn points! You have to wear the complete Sparkz of Love outfits (Girls: You need to wear the Party Animal Skirt available in Shopz to complete the outfit) to collect Heartz that will earn you 1 point! Keep track of your progress on the Leaderboard to make sure you’re in the lead – you want your romantic event to be the best Valentine’s Day celebration ever!

Hey Woozens!

Well Woozens, I don’t know about you, but I have to say January really flew by!  What with all the preparations for Arctic Fest 2013 and Mya’s Birthday extravaganza, I feel like I never had any time to relax (in a good way, Mya! XD ).  But now that February’s here, this weekend I finally got tokick back, order a pizza, and play some Skyrim!  ‘Cuz nothing happens in February, right?

OH WAIT. Valentine’s Day!  Well, no wonderJenny was so secretive this weekend!  She must already have something cool in mind.  Oh no Woozens, I’m definitely gonna need your advice on this one.  Jenny’s so adorable, she always thinks of the cutest, most original things for Valentine’s Day, and I feel so lame in comparison XD  This year I want to come up with something extra-special in time for next Thursday!  Post a comment for me if you have ideas X)

Well, between rounds of video games, Jayinvited me over to watch some hockey at his place this weekend.  Basketball may be his favorite sport, but Jay certainly gets into hockey!  I’m so glad the NHL lockout is over.  We were yelling so much during one of the games on Saturday that we were both hoarse afterwards!  It really made things difficult onSunday when we were watching the Superbowl XD.  Mya and Jenny were freaking out about Beyoncé’sperformance – what did you think, Woozens?

Happy Friday Woozens!

Well woozens, after the craziness of these past two weeks with ArcticFest 2013 and Mya’s fabulous Birthday Bash (featuring surprise guest Xzibit!), we decided to chill out for a bit.  This week we had our regular awesome animations with Jenny’s turn on What the  Wooz?! (including some woozen interviews!), Max’s Game Show, and of course diva-tastic Mya’s Late Night Show, back tonight after a two-week hiatus.  Plus, we want to see your creativity in this week’s Video Challenge, thanking Xzibit for bringing our favorite fashionista such an amazing gift!

Weekend Eventz

Saturday, February 2nd at 1PM WT MyaWooz will host her Star of the Week Competition!  To enter the contest, come to Mya’s Fashion Show Unitz wearing your best outfit from the new Feline & Predator Collection in purrfect purrple, and walk that catwalk! Mya and three woozen judges will be there to score your looks.

Also on Saturday, at 4PM WT, JayWooz will be chillin’ in his VIP Freestyle Café with you woozen poets, feestyling on the theme of Your Dream Job!

On Sunday, February 3rd, at 1PM WT, create a Display Eventz for JennyWooz in the new Heavenly Love Unitz (Store exclusive!).  Wear the matching Sparkz of Love outfits for an extra-special gift.  You know how much this girl loves romance, so make it cute! ;)

Also on Sunday at 4PM WT, MaxWooz will be playing one of his new favorite games, Map Revenge.  Combing geography and trivia skillz, this game will test you all the find the ultimate woozen game champ!

Jay and Jenny have been so impressed by your woozen creativity, they’re keeping their competitions going!

On alternating Tuesdays, Jay will post a theme for his Unitz Design Competition! You have a FULL week to submit the Unitz in his Unitz Design HQ. Jay will post the winners in a brand new Albumz the following Tuesday!

Every other week, Jenny will post a Video Challenge theme and rules on the Hot Topicz. You will then have until the following week to submit your video link (uploaded to YouTube) in the Woozworld News HQ. Jenny will go through all the entries and choose winners to be featured in a Hot Topicz!

Mya’s Birthday Review by I-Like-MuffinsHey guys I-Like-Muffins here. We are going to talk about the mya’s awesome BIRTHDAY. :D I really love the surprise guest stars. I love how they always bring something. :D … By the way, Did you see the Mya’s new HOT PINK CAR ! :D.
I have to compliment the designers for the new awesome new clothes. The animal ears are the best. You guys keep surprising me!
